A living
legacy of Art,
Craft, and
Soul

OneAfterFall is not just a brand. It serves as a living repository of inherited talent

The tale of an art-based family that started doing business over a century ago as a shop for an artist's original work-canvases and others-so that it would exist for years if not forever, not to be put on the market

This platform exists to honor art as lineage, craft as memory, and creation as responsibility

From 1800 to 1900 the Establishment of The Roots.

Thus, the story starts at a historical juncture in the Indian subcontinent in the late 19th century with a farsighted artist and photographer, Nazir Hosein, based in Delhi and Meerut.

In 1886, he was officially recognized for his work as a Miniature painter during the colonial & Indian Exhibition in London.

At the Paris Exposition Universelle, Griggs was honored with a Gold Medal, in 1902.An enormous work of art would see its credit in a live art performance, working hard to replicate about forty such eye and eyelid expressions.

The Continuation Sheikh Mehmood Hussein | the colonial bridge

Carrying his legacy forward was Sheikh Mehmood Hussein, a master artist whose work represented a bridge between classical Indian artistry and Victorian global platforms. He was among them.

A living legacy of Art,
Craft, and Soul

From a generation of mastery, the legacy did not rest-it transformed.
Sheikh Wahid Mehmood, son of Sheikh Mehmood Hussein, carried forward the family's artistic soul, proving that art does not merely survive through history-it evolves within blood.

In his hands, art found a new language: handmade brass leaves, each born from fire, patience and inherited intuition. Every different version of the piece shows the natural patterns of the land while maintaining the peaceful nature of traditional craftwork; their appearances differ from each other.

The brass leaves function as decorative elements which display an everlasting quality because their metal construction allows ancestral stories to be told through their design.

Leaves & Veins

Art runs in veins, so do stories.

Inspired by generations of master artists, our handmade brass leaves carry veins that echo Human emotion, each line unrepeatable, each form alive with meaning. What nature whispers, we preserve in brass

Growth follows hardship.  Renewal follows fall.

When Sheikh Wahid Mehmood,, carried forward this artistic legacy, he chose leaves as medium because they reflect humanity itself, quite, expressive,
And deeply symbolic. The veins were not redesigned or stylized; they were respected, preserved as nature created them
A living metal, shaped by fire and time, brass performs what is otherwise fleeting: emotion, memory, and meaning.

They wait to be felt. They wait to be understood

The Legacy Forward Bridge to Brand

When Nazir Hussein presented living expressions of human emotion to the world, to generations of painters, craftsmen, and designers, art has never left our blood.

Today, that legacy finds its contemporary voice in OneAfterFall.Founded to revive, preserve, and re-present this inherited artistry, it transforms ancestral understanding into tangible form.
Brass leaves show continuous existence because handmade works carry heritage through time instead of staying confined to historical periods.

The room contains more than decorative elements. This is Legacy-shaped by hand, guided by veins, and born from generations of Art. Each brass leaf carries veins like a human palm- unrepeatable, expressive, alive

A single leaf is formed through hours of constant hammering. Every strike is measured

Every moment is intentional. The craftsman’s eye remains fixed, focused on the brass with unwavering attention- because one careless moment can erase hours of work. The process is arduous. Metal resists. Hand tire. Silence deepens. Yet the craftsman Continuing, much like life itself-absorbing pressure, responding to resistance shaping form through persistence in these hours, patience becomes part of the object. This slow creation mirrors the philosophy behind the leaves themselves.

Just as human emotions are shaped over time, through struggle, reflection and quiet strength

You hold time, focus , discipline and human preservance, preserved in metal. This is why every leaf is different, this is why every leaf has meaning. And this is why each one must be made by hand

Sheikh Wahid Mehmood art is still available and acknowledged by chain hotels like intercontinental chain PC, Rooms are decorated by fixtures and Lamps all are handmade products.
